The ASIS Austin Chapter is pleased to welcome Belinda Mangum as our featured speaker for the November meeting. Belinda is a public safety executive, trainer, and strategic leader with more than 28 years of law enforcement experience, including over a decade in supervisory and command level roles spanning Criminal Investigations, Hostage Negotiation, Field Training, Traffic Operations, Lake Patrol, Crisis Intervention, and School Resource Officer programs. She has served as Incident Commander for large scale, multi agency public safety operations at Circuit of the Americas: including Formula 1, MotoGP, and NASCAR events — bringing together the full complexity of modern incident management on a national stage. Today, Belinda serves as Training Director and Coordinator for Menger Public Safety Training, where she develops statewide law enforcement training and builds partnerships across the public safety community, while also serving as a contract instructor for the Texas State School Safety Center. Her areas of focus include leadership development, crisis and incident management, organizational resilience, and building high-performing teams — making her an outstanding fit for an ASIS audience of security and public safety professionals.
